How often do you feel overwhelmed?

Being overwhelmed is something we don’t like to admit. We should be able to handle it. Someone else has it way worse. It’s not THAT bad… 

The list of reasons we tell ourselves to try to push the overwhelm away can go on forever, and even be really ridiculous if you say them out loud. 

 

Experiencing overwhelm happens to all of us. 

 

Little blips of it are manageable, and if you have the tools to understand overwhelm and how it feels in your body you can use it as a sign to stop, assess, and make intentional decisions to do something different. But we can’t learn how to do this on our own.
